Down-Hole Monitoring Tool for Oil and Gas
A Norwegian Oilfield Technology Company contacted us to create a custom-developed multi-sensor tool used for sub-sea drilling. This device integrates temperature, pressure, magnetic flux, compression measurements, a 3-axis accelerometer, data logging, and a wired communication link. It operates at temperatures up to 260°C, has ultrasonic and electromagnetic sensors to accurately measure the thickness of metal structures – all designed to operate in harsh environments to detect casing collars for sub-sea drilling.
Pivot International’s subsidiary, A2E Limited, fully designed, engineered, tested, and manufactured this tool, as well as sourced all materials.
