Job Description: We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and experienced Software Engineer to develop innovative products for our customers, in markets ranging from Energy (Renewable, Smart Metering, Oil & Gas) to Industrial, Life Sciences and Medical. This is a high-profile opportunity for you to demonstrate your talent in a fast-paced technical environment. Essential Technical skills:

3+ years’ experience of developing embedded / real-time systems
Strong Modern C++ and C skills, gained in a commercial environment
Linux system development (e.g. Yocto, Debian)
16 and 32-bit microcontrollers (e.g. ARM, PIC, MSP430, DSP)
Standard buses and protocols (e.g. Ethernet, USB, RS232, I2C, SPI)
Embedded control of wireless modules (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, NFC)
Experience of a variety of development environments and tools
Development of high quality code and adherence to best coding practices
Software problem-solving and bug-fixing

Criteria:

Enjoy working in a fast-paced technical environment
Possess strong communication skills; both internal and customer facing
Use and understand appropriate methodologies to design, build and test complex systems
Create customer-readable documentation, test results and reports

Pivot International is looking for a Supply Chain Manager of Electronic Components to join our global company. In this role, you would be responsible for all aspects of purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory management, and logistics across our global companies. This role develops and executes strategies to meet both short-term and long-term supply chain and production control requirements for the organization.

The Supply Chain Manager operates with minimal direction, manages multiple and complex projects, and serves as a leadership resource within the Supply Chain Department. The role also provides training, guidance, and support to other team members to strengthen overall departmental capability.

Job Responsibilities:

Quality & Compliance:

Complies with all Pivot Quality System procedures and work instructions.
Supports ISO initiatives required for the Supply Chain Department.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

Develops and maintains positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Negotiates the best possible pricing, terms, and commercial conditions.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of management or supervisory experience, leading cross-functional teams or programs.

Strong understanding of supplier selection, dual-sourcing strategies, and material substitution methodologies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: are over the Supply Chain; these responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree with five years of work-related supply chain experience, or equivalent work experience; preference for experience in engineering and/or manufacturing environments.
